Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SerpMonk, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

SerpMonk is a SERP monitoring and analysis tool that tracks search engine rankings, scrapes content from URLs, detects changes, and provides AI-powered insights. We provide the service "as is" without guarantees of uptime or accuracy.

User Accounts

To use SerpMonk, you must:

  • Sign in with a valid Google account
  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes
  • Scrape or track websites that prohibit automated access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the service
  • Share your account with others
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits for your tier

Subscription & Billing

Subscriptions are billed according to your selected plan. We use Stripe for payment processing. Key terms:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
  • You can cancel anytime from your billing settings
  • No refunds for partial months
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

Data Retention

SERP snapshots are retained based on your subscription tier (1-52 weeks). When you downgrade or cancel, older snapshots beyond your tier limit are automatically deleted. You can delete keywords and data manually at any time.

Intellectual Property

SerpMonk and its original content are owned by us. Your data (keywords, notes) remains yours. AI-generated insights are provided for your use within the service.

Limitation of Liability

SerpMonk is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for lost rankings, business decisions based on our analysis, or service interruptions. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the last 3 months.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.
